Trogir was founded in the third century BC and on the area lies the historical core of Trogir, that is considered best preserved Romanesque-Gothic town on the Adriatic and in Eastern Europe.
Trogir's medieval core, surrounded by walls, is composed of a preserved castle and tower and a series of homes and palaces from Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque periods. So enjoy the walk throught tiny streets and squares of Trogir.
As the Split diocletian palace that is only 30 km away, the old part of the Trogir is under protection of UNESCO.
Near Trogir there are many beaches : Pantan beach, Okrug beach ( 5 kilometers from the center of Trogir, it is 5 kilometers long pebble beach), Medena beach ( 4 kilometers from center of Trogir, 3 kilometers long, offers great variety os recreation as well as the facilities for children).
