Located in town of Split, Diocletian palace - palace of the Roman experor Diocletian - till these days is the hearth of Split, deeply integrated in live of the inhabitants of Split. Did you know that people live in the palace, that there are flats, shops, restaurant and the hotels?
The Emperor’s Palace is one of the most significant works of late-ancient architecture, not just for the preservation of original parts and the whole, but also for a series of original architectural forms announcing the new early-Christian, Byzantine and early-medieval art.
From Bol and Island of Brac as well as from other Middle Dalmatian islands it is easy to reach, there are also vvarious guided and not guided tours available.
